Ukraine on Tuesday (March 11) agreed to an immediate, interim 30-day ceasefire proposal made by the US, contingent on Russian cooperation.
The discussions, held under the auspices of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, also addressed humanitarian efforts, the exchange of prisoners, and a strategic economic partnership to develop Ukraine’s critical mineral resources.
In a joint statement following high-level talks in Jeddah, both nations reaffirmed their commitment to securing Ukraine’s long-term stability and announced the resumption of US intelligence sharing and security assistance.
