Prime Minister Narendra Modi closely monitored Operation Sindoor throughout the night as the Indian armed forces carried out precision strikes against terror outfits and their hideouts in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), news agency ANI reported.
The missile strikes on nine terror targets in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir were successful, with Indian forces aiming to target top Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba leaders for their role in orchestrating terror attacks in India.
In the early hours of Wednesday, Indian forces launched precision strikes on terrorist infrastructure across the border. According to the Ministry of Defence, the actions were “focused, measured, and non-escalatory,” with no Pakistani military sites targeted. The strikes were carried out in response to the brutal Pahalgam terror attack, which claimed the lives of 25 Indian citizens and one Nepali national.
