
Following the tragic terror attack in Pahalgam that left at least 28 people dead, airlines have announced special measures for affected passengers, including extra flights and waivers on rescheduling and cancellation fees.
Air India and IndiGo will operate special flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday.
Air India and its budget airline, Air India Express, have also offered free rescheduling and full refunds on all flights to and from Srinagar until April 30.
This comes a day after terrorists opened fire at a popular tourist spot in Pahalgam, Kashmir, killing at least 26 people, most of them tourists.
βIn view of the prevailing situation, Air India will operate two additional flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday, April 23,β Air India said in a post on X.
An IndiGo official said the airline will run two extra flights from Srinagar to Delhi and Mumbai on Wednesday.
