Ola Electric has confirmed receiving emails from the Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI) and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways (MORTH) regarding discrepancies between its reported sales and actual vehicle registrations.
This confirms a CNBC-TV18 news break that the MHI has sought an explanation from Ola Electric on the mismatch between reported sales and registration data.
CNBC-TV18 had reported on March 20 that the Ministry of Heavy Industries has sought an explanation from Ola Electric.
The company has also received notices in four states concerning trade certificates for some of its stores.
