Gong delivered business results for Fiscal 2025, it did not clarify when Fiscal 2025 ended, though. The headline is that the firm broke through Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of $300 million. This is helped by one in four customers using multiple solutions on the Gong platform.
Amit Bendov, CEO of Gong, commented, “We’re incredibly proud to lead the Revenue AI revolution and to have crossed $300M in ARR.
“Over the past year, we’ve seen rising market adoption as revenue teams progressively rely on AI—not just for better insights but for automating actions and workflows that drive greater productivity, business growth, and forecasting accuracy.
“The results speak for themselves—teams using AI-powered solutions like Gong are consistently outperforming their peers. We’re excited to build on our success and, with even bigger ambitions for the year ahead, continue empowering revenue teams with an AI platform that delivers tangible and compelling outcomes.”
The firm has delivered a consistent growth trajectory since it was founded in 2016. That success has helped the firm raise $583 million (Source: Crunchbase), with backers that include Norwest Venture Partners, Sequoia Capital, Battery Ventures, Index Ventures, and Franklin Templeton. According to GetLatka, the firm achieved $332.3M in revenue and 4,000 customers in 2024. It isn’t clear if this was fiscal or calendar 2024, though.
The investors appear happy with the trajectory. Sonya Huang, General Partner of Sequoia and Gong Board member, commented, “Gong’s momentum reflects the current market transformation. Gong is reshaping the future of revenue with AI, transforming how companies manage customers and deliver results at every stage of their business.
“Its strong growth underscores a key trend as we head into 2025—companies are moving beyond foundational AI technology and seeking enterprise AI applications that deliver real, measurable business benefits.”
What is more important, AI usage or the results of using AI
In recent months, the momentum has been boosted by its historical investment in AI and the increasing demand for AI-driven revenue solutions. Customers are also using the Gong revenue platform more than ever before. The usage of Gong’s AI capabilities has risen by 50% in the last 12 months.
AI usage figures such as those above must be taken with a pinch of salt, as Gong did not give any explanation. How is it calculated by the number of processes or customers, and what was the starting point? It also revealed that Ask Anything, a generative AI feature and one of the most popular, saw a 400% increase in usage.
Is this because users are more familiar with and are starting to trust AI features more? There is potential for some interesting research here that might convince others to adopt Gong’s AI-powered revenue platform. The fastest-growing usage has been seen within the newest products: Gong Engage and Gong Forecast. These leverage the Gong AI capabilities alongside its Data Engine.
Gong Engage provides AI-generated actions based on every customer interaction to help build pipelines and drive revenue. Bryce Williford, SVP of Sales BlueGrace, commented, “Since we launched Gong Engage, our outreach response rates have increased from 16% to 30%. That’s an 88% boost.”
Gong Forecast provides business leaders with accurate, data-driven and AI-powered results that no longer rely on guestimates from sales teams. Drew Korab, Director of RevOps, Upwork, commented, “Our forecast accuracy has grown to the point that we’re now at 95%. Gong lets us run a predictable revenue organization, reduce the number of tools in our tech stack, and save tons of time on forecasting.”
