Christopher McFadden
Christopher graduated from Cardiff University in 2004 with a Masters Degree in Geology. Since then, he has worked exclusively within the Built Environment, Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Consultancy industries. He is a qualified and accredited Energy Consultant, Green Deal Assessor and Practitioner member of IEMA. Chris’s main interests range from Science and Engineering, Military and Ancient History to Politics and Philosophy.
Dr. Feniosky Peña-Mora
Dr. Feniosky Peña-Mora is the Executive Vice President for Research and Dean of Engineering and Sciences at Tecnológico de Monterrey in Mexico and the 2024-2025 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) President.
With nearly 30 years in academia and professional practice, Dr. Peña-Mora has held significant roles, including Executive Director of Columbia University’s Center for Buildings, Infrastructure, and Public Space, Edwin Howard Armstrong Professor of Civil Engineering, and Commissioner of the NYC Department of Design and Construction. A prolific scholar with over 250 publications and six patents, he has also served on ASCE’s Board of Direction and chaired multiple ASCE councils.
Dr. Peña-Mora holds advanced degrees in civil engineering from MIT and is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Buildings and a member of the Dominican Republic Academy of Sciences and the U.S. National Academy of Construction. His leadership focuses on advancing resilient, sustainable, and equitable infrastructure to meet climate and societal challenges.
