US Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard has affirmed America’s strong support for India’s efforts to bring to justice those responsible for the deadly Pahalgam attack, which claimed the lives of 26 Hindus.
In a post on X, she said, “We stand in solidarity with India in the wake of the horrific Islamist terrorist attack, targeting and killing 26 Hindus in Pahalgam. My prayers and deepest sympathies are with those who lost a loved one, PM Narendra Modi, and with all the people of India. We are with you and support you as you hunt down those responsible for this heinous attack.”

The statement came days after terrorists opened fire at a tourist location near Kashmir’s Pahalgam town on the afternoon of April 22, in what is the deadliest attack in the Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019.
